The grayscale before I go to color. Sometimes the pic is easier to do this way and then flatten it and then go back into it via coloring it and tweaking it. Took longer than I'd planned...

- Jeff H. White was born in a small yurt on the Mongolian steppes and made a solo journey to America across the Pacific by raft when he was eight years old with nothing but a canvas rucksack filled with pens, inks, parchment, comic books, stale crackers and a thermos filled with yak's milk. To fill the time while traveling across the ocean's waves, he learned how to draw and digitally paint. Since then, he has illustrated several books, comics, magazine illustrations, t-shirts and other things he's either too ashamed to admit or that may lead to possible jail time.
